Job summary

HID Global, Galway, Ireland, is seeking an operationally focused EMEA Finance Manager on a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will manage accounting services for a portfolio of EMEA companies, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and high-quality service across the region.

You will lead the EMEA Shared Services Accounting team, drive month-end close under IFRS, and oversee statutory compliance, audit readiness, and tax filings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years accounting experience in a multinational organization.
• Strong IFRS and local GAAP exposure.
• Experience in SSC processes and continuous improvement.
• Professional accounting qualification and bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle) and consolidation tools (Onestream).

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close for defined portfolio under IFRS and meet deadlines.
• Govern Balance Sheet reconciliations for multiple entities.
• Ensure statutory compliance, filing, and audit readiness.
• Oversee indirect tax/VAT accounting and filings.
• Coach and develop a diverse accounting team, fostering continuous improvement.
