Nenagh, Co. Tipperary-based SYS Financial Ltd is seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance function, report to the CFO and drive strategic financial performance for a high-growth financial services group.

Based in Nenagh, you will work closely with the CFO and leadership team on financial reporting, budgeting, consolidations and acquisition activity, shaping a scalable finance function to support continued growth.

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
7+ years' post-qualification experience.
Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role.
Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
Experience operating within a multi-entity or group environment.
Experience presenting financial information to Boards, Executive Committees or senior leadership teams.
Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading and developing teams.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing organisation.

Responsibilities

Lead the finance function and develop a high-performing finance team.
Oversee financial reporting, Board reporting and management accounts.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
Manage group consolidations across multiple entities.
Support acquisition activity and integration of new businesses.
Ensure strong financial controls, governance and compliance.
Drive reporting improvements, automation and AI-enabled initiatives.
Partner with senior leaders to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
