Job summary

Planet in Ireland invites applications for a Finance Director to lead financial planning and partner with ELT to optimise expenditure and investments in a fast-paced, tech-led environment.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, deliver regular performance reporting, and ensure strong governance and value realization across functions. The role is hybrid, with collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with global FP&A experience.
• Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and drive cost discipline.
• Advanced Excel modelling and financial analytics.
• Experience with ERP platforms and automation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasts, and long-range planning.
• Provide financial insight and challenge to optimise spend.
• Develop business cases and evaluate investments.
• Monitor Opex/Capex and headcount with variance analysis.
• Partner on workforce planning and organisational design.
