Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Ireland is seeking a proactive Food & Beverage Assistant to deliver friendly, professional service to hotel guests. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will learn through the Dalata Academy and grow within a supportive team.

You will be expected to greet guests by name, recommend wine and menu options, and upsell to maximise sales while maintaining high standards of service in a busy bar and restaurant setting.

Qualifications

Previous experience is essential.
Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
Flexibility in working hours (mornings/evenings & weekends)
Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
Micros experience preferable.
Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

Greet regular guests by name and provide friendly service.
Know and explain wine and menu options; make recommendations.
Be courteous, friendly and professional at all times.
Upsell and maximise sales revenue where possible.
Maintain general cleaning of bar and restaurant.
Serve guests with food and beverage.
