Dalata Hotel Group in Dublin is looking for a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, you will provide attentive service to hotel guests, greet regulars by name, and help maintain a welcoming dining environment.

You will gain training through the Dalata Academy and have opportunities to advance within the company. We offer benefits like staff meals, discounted rates, and development programmes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name.
• Have good knowledge of food and wine and make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional.
• Upsell to maximise sales revenue.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverage.
