Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team in Ireland. You’ll receive training through the Dalata Academy to build essential skills and grow within the company.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you’ll provide friendly and efficient service to our hotel guests, with opportunities for advancement as we promote from within.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours incl. mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine; be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.
