Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy to learn essential hospitality skills and grow with experienced colleagues.

The role reports to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager and focuses on friendly, efficient service to hotel guests, with opportunities to progress within the company. A friendly, team-oriented environment and internal development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine; be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.
