Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team in Dublin. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy and have opportunities for internal growth as we promote from within.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will provide friendly and efficient service, greet guests by name, and upsell to maximize revenue in a high-volume hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills required.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine; able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverage.
