Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc in Ireland is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy and work under the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager to deliver friendly, efficient service to hotel guests.

The role offers internal development, opportunities to progress, and a friendly work environment. Previous experience in hospitality, fluent English, and flexibility for mornings/evenings/weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings/weekends.
• Experience in high-volume/fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills required.
• Micros experience preferable.
• Hotel experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and provide attentive service.
• Have good knowledge of food and wine and make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue where possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant areas.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.
