Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead friendly, efficient service for hotel guests. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee service areas, maintain cleanliness, and help create a welcoming atmosphere to maximize guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes upselling, adherence to SOPs, and participation in staff development programmes through the Dalata Academy. This position supports internal growth within Dalata properties in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star hotel is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including midweek and weekends.
• Team player who is hardworking and dedicated to their role.

Responsibilities

• Operate Food & Beverage service according to SOPs.
• Ensure timely setup and ongoing maintenance of F&B areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all F&B areas.
• Control heating, lighting, and music/TVs to create a comfortable atmosphere.
• Provide efficient and friendly service to guests at all times.
• Maximize sales through upselling.
• Complete daily SOP checklists to uphold training standards.
• Execute daily and weekly cleaning checklists to maintain hygiene.
