Job summary

MCS Group in Ireland is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join a busy IT team. The role focuses on ERP systems, SQL and API integrations, delivering technical and functional support for business-critical applications.

You will investigate production issues, troubleshoot integrations, and work with developers, analysts and vendors to resolve complex problems. Hybrid work model offered. You will also use Postman for API testing and contribute to documentation and system improvements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in IT, with at least 2 years in application or ERP support.
• Experience supporting an ERP system (Infor, SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle or similar).
• Strong SQL skills and data investigation.
• Experience troubleshooting APIs and integrations (Postman ideal).
• Understanding REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support across ERP systems, custom apps and integrations.
• Investigate and resolve production issues in live environments.
• Use SQL queries to investigate data discrepancies and validate transactions.
• Test and troubleshoot REST and SOAP APIs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot B2B integrations and automated data feeds.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and vendors to resolve issues.
• Manage incidents and changes via ITSM platform.
• Identify recurring problems and contribute to improvements and documentation.
