Job summary

MCS Group is working with a growing SaaS business to hire a Solution Consultant who will play a key role in the enterprise sales process. This highly consultative, customer-facing position sits between Sales, Product, Engineering and Services, with a hybrid Dublin office.

You’ll support Account Executives from discovery through solution design, deliver tailored product demonstrations, advise on integrations and APIs, and ensure a smooth handover into implementation after a successful sale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SaaS/tech or tech-enabled services with strong customer-facing skills.
• Comfortable leading discovery sessions and delivering demos.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience with RFPs, tenders, or complex enterprise sales is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery sessions, workshops and technical discussions.
• Understand customers’ business processes, existing systems, workflows and integration requirements.
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, practical solution proposals.
• Plan and deliver tailored product demonstrations based on each prospect’s specific requirements.
• Work closely with Account Executives to support complex enterprise sales opportunities.
• Advise customers on areas including integrations, configuration, APIs and technical feasibility.
• Identify potential solution gaps, dependencies and technical risks and work with Product and Engineering to establish the best approach.
• Define and document appropriate integration approaches.
• Take ownership of the technical and solution elements of RFPs, RFIs and tender responses.
• Act as a key liaison between Sales, Product, Engineering and Services throughout the sales process.
• Capture recurring customer requirements and market feedback to help influence product development.
• Ensure a smooth handover of agreed customer requirements and solution design into implementation following a successful sale.
