The Red Carnation Hotel Collection is recruiting a full-time Duty Manager for Ashford Castle, Cong, Mayo, Ireland. You will oversee daily operations, lead front and back‑of‑house teams, and ensure exceptional guest experiences during shifts. The role requires a hands‑on, calm leadership style and a commitment to high standards.

• Experience in luxury hotel or high-end establishment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Hands-on problem solving and guest focus.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of hotel operations across front desk, housekeeping, F&B and maintenance.
• Genuine commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.

• Oversee daily hotel operations and maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Assist with front and back‑of‑house tasks during shifts and lead the team.
• Provide prompt, courteous, personalised service and handle guest concerns.
• Support Heads of Departments to coordinate daily tasks and smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations on shift.
• Maintain high service quality, cleanliness and guest experience; track KPIs.
• Take responsibility in the absence of senior management and coordinate departments.
• Proactively anticipate and resolve operational issues and guest challenges.
