Job summary

The Red Carnation Hotel Collection at Ashford Castle in Cong, Ireland, invites applications for a Sales & Events Agent in a 5-star luxury setting. You will support sales activity, coordinate VIP itineraries and manage client communications to deliver exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, event coordination, or similar hospitality role.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.
• Ability to work under pressure with high service standards.
• Proactive, self-motivated with initiative.
• Budget awareness and profitability understanding.
• Team player with client and supplier relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain travel advisor and agency records and support sales activity.
• Prepare customised sales and group proposals.
• Coordinate guest, VIP, media and influencer itineraries.
• Manage correspondence with travel advisors, partners and guests via email and phone.
• Support VIP requests in the absence of senior leadership.
• Assist with individual and group reservations, including rooming lists, dining, activities and experiences.
• Prepare and update event and function documentation for seamless delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Front Office, F&B, Operations).
• Compile monthly sales and production reports to track partner and event performance.
• Support marketing initiatives including advert briefs (print and radio).
• Take ownership of enquiries from initial contact through to completion.
