Job summary

Donnybrook Fair is recruiting a Duty Manager to support the Senior Management team and oversee daily store operations. You will be accountable for admin tasks, staffing, and leading the floor with a focus on service and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years in a similar managerial role, be passionate about food, and be familiar with till procedures including opening and closing tills. Flexible, full-time availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar managerial role.
• Passionate about good food.
• Familiar with till procedures, including opening/closing tills.
• Previous Key Holder is an advantage.
• Able to follow guidance from senior management.
• Good leadership skills and ability to guide colleagues on the floor.
• Fully flexible and available for full-time work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations.
• Act as Key Holder and manage opening/closing duties.
• Ensure proper store presentation and visual standards.
• Provide excellent customer service across all areas of the shop.
• Lead and coach team members on the shop floor.
• Maintain vigilance and compliance with health, safety, and food legislation.
• Ensure hygiene standards and cleanliness at all times.
• Stock shelves and replenish inventory as required.
• Perform other duties as required by Shop Management.

As a Duty Manager, you will provide support to our existing Senior Management team and act responsibly for the overall day to day operations of the store.

You will be accountable for general administrative and daily staffing duties as well as providing leadership.

Responsibilities and Duties will include:

• Responsible for overall day to day store operations
• Key Holder
• Responsible for store presentation
• Providing excellent customer service and assistance at all areas of the shop
• Working as part of a team
• Remaining vigilant at all times
• Be knowledgeable and comply with all legislation in relation to Food, Health and Safety and Underage sales.
• Ensuring excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
• Stocking of shelves and replenishing of stock as required
• Other duties as required by the Shop Management
