Job summary

Centra in Dublin is seeking a hands-on Diner Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure customers receive the best service and fresh food offerings.

You will drive sales and profitability by leading a team, managing rosters and leave records, and ensuring presentation and compliance with planograms. Occasional work in the deli/fresh foods section is required; prior fast-food experience and KPI-driven reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-food environment.
• Team player with ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to meet KPIs and targets.
• Strong ability to read and act on reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• HACCP training is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the diner.
• Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste and other KPIs as agreed with Owner.
• Manage employee rostering and annual leave and maintain accurate and secure records.
• Ensure merchandising and presentation of diner is always of the highest standard and in accordance with relevant planograms and guidelines.
• Develop and promote good communication between employees and management in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
• Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally, and consistent with diner policy.
• Engage with new initiatives and embrace new ways of working.

Job description

Ensure our diner operates efficiently and effectively and that all our employees provide our customers with the best customer service and fresh food offering at all times. Deliver key store targets (sales and profitability) through effective management of people and operations. The successful candidate would also be required to work occasionally in the deli /fresh food section of our Centra store.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• One or more years€,, experience working in a Fast-Food environment
• The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment & to multitask under pressure
• An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets
• Strong knowledge and experience of reading and actioning reports
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Highly driven with a strong work ethic
• Previous customer service experience is an advantage
• HACCP training is an advantage but not necessary
