Job summary

PE Global (UK) is looking for a Deputy Manager in Carlow to lead residential children’s services. This permanent full-time role offers a salary between €45,000 and €50,000 alongside opportunities for professional development and a collaborative culture.

The successful candidate will guide service delivery, mentor staff, and shape service development while ensuring compliance with regulations. Applicants must hold Level 7 or Level 8 Social Care qualification and have a proven ability to lead teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 7 or higher qualification in Social Care or equivalent.
• Clean manual driving licence is required.
• Experience in leading teams and working in children’s services is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of the residential children’s services to ensure high-quality care.
• Oversee service delivery and develop supportive staff relationships.
• Work collaboratively with the regional management team.

I am currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to lead one of its residential children’s services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality, trauma‑informed care. You will lead an experienced team, oversee service delivery, and ensure positive outcomes for children and young people in care.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape service development, mentor staff, and work alongside an experienced regional management team.

Requirements

• Level 7 or Level 8 Social Care qualification (or recognised equivalent)
• CORU registration or eligibility
• Relevant experience within children’s residential services
• Strong understanding of HIQA and children’s residential regulations
• Full clean manual driving licence
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams
