Job summary

CPL Healthcare are delighted to partner with our client in recruiting a Deputy Manager for a children’s residential service in Co. Cavan.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social care professional to join a progressive and growing organisation dedicated to safe, therapeutic, and child-centred care. The successful candidate will work closely with the Centre Manager to support the daily management of the service, ensure high standards of care, and provide leadership and support to

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 7 qualification in Social Care or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in children’s residential services.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards, National Standards in Children’s Residential Centres, Children’s First safeguarding, and child-centred practice.
• Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Passion to support young people who have experienced trauma in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily management of the service alongside the Centre Manager.
• Ensure high standards of care within the service.
• Provide leadership and support to the staff team.
