MOTOR DISTRIBUTORS LTD is seeking a Service Advisor to be a key link between customers and our workshop team. You will manage bookings from initial contact to vehicle handover, ensuring clear communication, professional advice and an outstanding customer experience.

The role blends customer service, organisation, sales and administration, with proactive outreach to customers for servicing, recalls and additional work. A strong customer-service mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a busy customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication and telephone skills.
• Confidence speaking with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Strong customer-service mindset.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and tasks in a busy environment.
• Confidence using computer, CRM or booking systems.
• Proactive approach — you’re comfortable picking up the phone and contacting customers.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well within a team and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and discussing servicing, maintenance and repair requirements.
• Managing service bookings and workshop appointments.
• Making outbound calls to existing customers to book servicing, maintenance, recalls and other workshop work.
• Following up with customers due for a service or with outstanding recommended work.
• Managing incoming service enquiries by phone, online and in person.
• Clearly communicating customer concerns to the workshop team.
