Job summary

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate workshop job cards and customer records.
• Liaise with technicians and coordinate the scheduling of workshop jobs.
• Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle.
• Communicate any additional work or costs requiring customer approval.
• Ensure completed work is explained clearly when customers collect their vehicles.
• Prepare invoices and process customer payments.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional after-sales support.
• Follow up with customers when required.
• Help ensure workshop jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Support the wider dealership team during busy periods.

The Role

Our client, an established motor dealership in Castlebar, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join its team.

The Service Advisor will act as the main point of contact between customers and the dealership’s workshop. The successful candidate will welcome customers, identify their vehicle requirements, coordinate work with technicians and keep customers informed throughout the service or repair process.
