As a Service Advisor, you’ll be one of the main links between our customers and our workshop team.
You’ll manage customers from the initial booking through to vehicle handover, making sure they receive clear communication, professional advice and an excellent experience throughout.
This is a busy, varied role combiningcustomer service, organisation, sales, administration and proactive customer contact.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Welcoming customers and discussing their servicing, maintenance and repair requirements
- Managing service bookings and workshop appointments
- Makingoutbound calls to existing customers to book servicing, maintenance, recalls and other workshop work
- Following up with customers who are due a service or have outstanding recommended work
- Managing incoming telephone, online and in-person service enquiries
- Clearly communicating customer concerns and requirements to the workshop team
- Keeping customers updated on the progress of their vehicle
- Preparing accurate estimates and obtaining approval for additional work
- Explaining completed work and invoices clearly at vehicle handover
- Coordinating courtesy cars, customer collections and drop-offs
- Working closely with technicians, parts staff and the wider Aftersales team
- Ensuring customer records, bookings and service information are accurate and up to date
- Identifying appropriate additional products and services that benefit the customer
- Following up with customers to maintain high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
- Helping us maximise workshop utilisation and deliver an outstanding customer experience
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who isprofessional, organised, confident and genuinely good with people.
Ideally, you will have:
- At least3 years’ experience in a busy customer-facing environment
- Excellent communication and telephone skills
- Confidence speaking with customers both face-to-face and over the phone
- A strong customer-service mindset
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple customers and tasks in a busy environment
- Confidence using computer, CRM or booking systems
- A proactive approach — you’re comfortable picking up the phone and contacting customers rather than waiting for enquiries to come in
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work well within a team while also using your own initiative
Motor industry experience is welcomed, butattitude, communication skills and customer-service ability are just as important to us.
