Job summary

BoyleSports in Drogheda is looking for a Customer Service Assistant to help the Shop Manager run a busy retail store and deliver an excellent customer experience. You will assist with day-to-day operations, handle bets through terminals, and ensure accurate cash handling while maintaining high standards of shop presentation.

Open to individuals who are flexible across seven days, with strong numeracy, attention to detail, and a friendly, proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with the day to day running of the shop.
• Step up and guide shop operations in the absence of the Shop and Assistant Manager including opening and closing the shop.
• Manage and guide the shop team and cash handling procedures.
• Opportunity to manage on occasion with development potential.
• Provide outstanding customer experience through a helpful, friendly and knowledgeable approach.
• Accept bets through terminals and in-shop transactions using the EPOS system.
• Act as Brand Ambassador introducing customers to multi-channel/digital journey.
• Maintain high shop presentation standards and follow safety, compliance, and operations procedures.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment and pursue training to upskill.
