Job summary

BoyleSports in Clonmel is recruiting a Customer Service Assistant to support the Shop Manager and team in delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will help run the store daily, handle betting transactions, and ensure smooth operations.

The role requires friendly, trustworthy staff with keen numeracy, strong communication, and a proactive approach to upskilling. Full training will be provided on betting procedures and EPOS systems, with opportunities to progress within the company.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented with a helpful attitude.
• Strong numeracy and cash handling abilities.
• Flexible to operate 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager with the day-to-day shop operations.
• Lead shop operations in the absence of the Shop/Assistant Manager, including opening and closing the shop.
• Manage and guide the shop team and cash handling procedures.
• Upskill and progress within the company.
• Deliver outstanding customer service across multi-channel betting.
• Act as Brand Ambassador and introduce customers to the digital journey.
• Maintain high presentation standards and comply with safety and shop procedures.
• Work as part of a team and adhere to Social Responsibility duties.
