Job summary

Shape Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager for on-site delivery across multiple residential sites in Waterford. You will lead on-site teams, manage project delivery from inception to completion, and ensure budgets and schedules are met while adhering to EHS standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record in construction management, ideally with RC or residential experience in Ireland or the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience leading construction projects, ideally residential or RC works in Ireland/UK.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage on-site teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Regional Manager and Site Management.

• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor targets and progress, mitigate risks, resolve issues.
• Plan, coordinate and control projects while upholding health, safety and environment standards.

Client and opportunity overview:

My Client are a Residential Developer with 3no. sites in the Waterford City region and 20no.+ sites across Leinster and Munster. They have reputation for building quality, A-Rated homes across the country and have plans achieved for 400no.+ units across Waterford City over the next 5no. years. They also have the option to purchase more land in the not-too-distant future which could see up to 8no. years of work required around Waterford City. This is an opportunity for an experienced and passionate Project Manager to join an established-but-growing business. They have been trading for 25no.+ years and have won numerous awards along the way.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with Regional Manager and Site Management.
• Lead the on-site team - keep people happy, motivated and informed.
• Problem solving.
• Manage aspects of project delivery, from inception to completion.
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and maintain project targets and progress, manage risks, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Oversee project planning, coordination, and control, ensuring on-time and within budget delivery whilst upholding Company EHS standards.

Requirements:

• Take pride in what you do.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Previous experience Project Managing Construction Projects in Ireland or UK (ideally residential or R-C projects) Strong knowledge of construction techniques, regulations, and health & safety requirements.
• Trades background or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
