Job summary

Talent-Curve is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a €10 million residential development in Cahir, Co. Tipperary.

You will take overall responsibility for delivering the project on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. The role requires proven leadership, a background with a main contractor or developer, and strong knowledge of construction methodologies, programming and HSE.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage the project from commencement through to completion and handover.
  • Lead and coordinate the site management and engineering team.
  • Manage project programmes and monitor progress against milestones.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour.
  • Liaise with the client, design team, consultants and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitor project costs and work closely with the commercial team.
  • Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.
  • Identify and resolve technical, programme and operational issues.
  • Chair and attend project and progress meetings.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior management.
  • Ensure a high-quality finish and successful project handover.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a highly respected and long-established construction company on a €10 million residential development in Cahir, Co. Tipperary. Our client has built a strong reputation within the Irish construction industry through the successful delivery of high-quality residential, commercial and public-sector projects. With a wealth of experience and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an ambitious and experienced Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of this significant residential project.

The Role As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering residential or large-scale construction projects.
  • A background working with a main contractor or established developer.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, programming and project delivery.
  • Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work packages.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is desirable.
