Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for a leading construction company established in 2011, with HQ in Cork and offices across Limerick, Killarney and Dublin. The role manages one large project or multiple sites, ensuring on‑time delivery, budget adherence and compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will liaise with clients, sub-contractors, engineers, foremen and quantity surveyors, and lead design teams to deliver projects from planning to handover.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Progression from a Senior Engineer role to Project Manager level.
  • Essential: Insitu frame experience, with knowledge of civil works and construction methods.
  • Proven experience in project management within construction or civil engineering environments.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the comprehensive management of one large project or multiple sites, ensuring effective implementation of company processes and procedures.
  • Liaise with clients, sub-contractors, engineers, foremen, and quantity surveyors.
  • Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle—from planning and design development through execution to handover.
  • Lead and manage design teams, sub-contractors, and operational staff to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Maintain rigorous compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements, reinforcing a safety-first culture on-site.
  • Responsible for weekly work programmes, progress reports, and chairing management meetings, while ensuring alignment with commercial and budgetary objectives.

About Your New Job
