Job summary

AllSite Staffing seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to drive a large-scale fit-out and renovation at a food processing facility in Co. Dublin. You will lead from inception through handover, coordinating M&E installations and subcontractors while maintaining schedule and quality.

The role requires 5+ years in construction management, BCAR awareness, and strong planning, reporting and stakeholder-management skills. Driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years’ experience in a construction management role, preferably in commercial refurbishment or fit-out.
• Strong knowledge of M&E installations and coordination.
• Bachelor/Higher Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture or Quantity Surveying.
• BCAR experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Job description

An experienced Construction Project Manager is required to join an established building contractor delivering projects across Leinster.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional to take responsibility for a large-scale fit-out and renovation project within a food processing facility. The initial project is based in Lusk, Co. Dublin, with responsibility for managing the works from inception through to successful handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery and programming of works, monitoring progress against agreed project milestones.
• Take ownership of the project from commencement through to completion and handover.
• Coordinate construction activities, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Manage and coordinate M&E installations, ensuring effective integration with building and fit-out works.
• Review and manage specified and alternative product/equipment submittals.
• Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications, contractual requirements and relevant regulations.
• Prepare and issue detailed weekly progress reports covering RFIs, procurement schedules, technical submittals, programme responses, critical dates and project risks.
• Oversee subcontractor appointments and ensure subcontracted works are completed in accordance with contract requirements and specifications.
• Liaise regularly with clients, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other trades.
• Attend and lead project, management and progress meetings as required.
• Maintain accurate records and minutes of project meetings and agreed actions.
• Lead daily site/whiteboard meetings to ensure clear communication and information flow across all site teams.
• Effectively manage labour, materials and resources to maintain programme and quality standards.
• Develop strong working relationships with the client and project stakeholders while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
• Support the wider management team and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar construction management role, ideally within commercial construction, refurbishment and/or fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of M&E installations and M&E coordination.
• Construction-related qualification at Higher Diploma or Degree level in Construction Management, Project Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Previous BCAR experience would be a strong advantage.
• Strong programming, planning and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
• Strong IT skills with the ability to prepare comprehensive project and site reports.
• Commercially aware with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to demanding deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider management team.
• Full clean driving licence.
