Qualifications

• Engineering or construction qualification and 5-7 years’ experience in similar role.
• Team leadership and ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Must have strong knowledge of building detail and construction technology
• Excellent written, oral communication and time management skills
• Strong IT skills with use of Word, Excel, MS Project
• Procore experience helpful.
• Based in Longford

Responsibilities

• Manage site staff and all subcontractors to ensure works progress as planned.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are implemented.
• Establish and monitor the construction programme.
• Review drawings and specifications and communicate issues to the design team.
• Support buildability and cost-saving recommendations for the client.
• Coordinate information flow from the design team and prepare schedules/RFIs.
• Coordinate long lead-time materials or subcontract packages.
• Collaborate with contracts manager to meet project objectives and budget targets.
• Monitor construction quality of workmanship and materials.
• Maintain cost effectiveness through efficient use of resources.
