Job summary

highr is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead civil and residential projects in Ireland. You will develop detailed plans, manage budgets, coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Responsibilities include risk management, QA/QC, safety oversight, contract negotiations, and closeout activities. The ideal candidate has a relevant degree, a proven PM track record, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven track record in managing Construction/Residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and PM software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and procurement.
• Familiarity with construction safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans with timelines and budgets.
• Oversee budgets, track expenses, and enforce cost controls.
• Lead project teams including contractors and subcontractors.
• Create and adjust project schedules to meet milestones.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
• Implement QA/QC standards to meet industry requirements.
• Oversee safety protocols for all project personnel.
• Provide regular project updates and manage client expectations.
• Address design changes and site conditions to keep progress.
• Oversee project closeout, inspections, and final documentation.
