Job summary

Boden Group is hiring a Project Manager to lead day-to-day site operations on large-scale construction and civil engineering projects across three sites in the greater Dublin area, including a schools programme moving into its next phase. You will act as the bridge between senior engineers, site engineers and subcontractors to ensure programme delivery and subcontractor performance.

With 8+ years post-qualification experience with Tier 1 contractors and a degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering

• 8+ years post-qualification experience with Tier 1 contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations with senior engineers, site engineers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and manage workflow against the programme of works.
• Agree subcontractor short and long-term programmes and monitor performance.
• Make decisions on site issues including weather delays and escalations.
• Manage the complete project life-cycle from initial stages through to handover.
• Manage internal finishes and day-to-day site operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policy throughout.
• Obtain all necessary internal permits.
• Coordinate multiple projects concurrently.

We are currently hiring for a Project Manager to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering large-scale construction and civil engineering projects across three sites in the greater Dublin area, including a schools programme moving into its next phase.

The role oversees day-to-day site operations, sitting between senior engineers, site engineers, and subcontractors, with direct responsibility for programme delivery and subcontractor performance.

• Negotiate with subcontractors and manage subcontractor workflow against the programme of works
• Agree subcontractor short and long-term programmes and monitor performance
• Make decisions on site issues including weather delays and escalations
• Manage the complete project life-cycle from initial stages through to handover
• Manage internal finishes and day-to-day site operations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policy throughout

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
• 8+ years post-qualification experience with Tier 1 contractors
• Background in large-scale, high headcount sites
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under demanding time and quality targets
• Strong M&E background, ideally within construction
