Qualifications

• Engineering degree/diploma or related discipline or Trade Qualifications (Carpentry)
• Proven track record delivering large scale residential, commercial or refurbishment projects
• Hands-on experience with reinforced concrete and structural steel development
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage financial and programmed planning elements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness

Responsibilities

• Completing day-to-day site operations and supervising on-site personnel and sub-contractors
• Resolving day-to-day site issues during the project
• Co-ordinating with Purchasing Manager on material and plant requisitioning
• Liaising with Senior Quantity Surveyor on cost issues and variations
• Managing subcontractors, engineers and staff on site
• Supporting Project Manager to deliver on time, on budget, and to required safety/environment/quality standards
• Scheduling weekly work programmes and reviewing progress reports
• Facilitating information flow between Design and Construction Teams
• Attending and chairing weekly Management Team Meetings
• Maintaining site records per ISO 9001/14001 and managing Safety Management System
• Implementing daily and weekly Programmes
