Job summary

Wesco is hiring an Associate Representative - Inside Sales in the Dublin area. You will interact with existing customers primarily by phone and email to grow sales, up-sell, and add value to the buying experience.

You will collaborate with outside sales to meet overall goals and drive customer satisfaction. With guidance, you will qualify and develop opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts, prepare quotations, and follow up to secure orders.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of sales experience and/or sales administration is preferred but candidates may still be developing their skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders via email and phone, enter items, and coordinate with fulfillment; explain stock-outs and delivery dates.
• Increase orders by suggesting related items and referencing customer buying history.
• Own and develop opportunities passed from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts with guidance.
• Prepare, generate, and follow up on quotations to secure orders or understand loss reasons.
• Review open order reports and act on items at risk of missing delivery dates.
• Maintain backorder and expediting reports and notify customers accordingly.
• Report industry trends, pricing, and customer feedback to management.
