Job summary

A Dublin-based global organisation is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to partner with senior leadership, influence strategic decision-making and drive financial performance across a diverse portfolio.

You will lead monthly forecasting, budgeting and financial planning, analyse results and KPIs, and provide commercial insights to optimise profitability. The role requires strong communication and mentoring of a finance team in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CPA Ireland qualified.
• Proven people management experience, including leading a team of at least two.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Hyperion is advantageous.

Responsibilities

I’m delighted to be partnering with a leading global organisation to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager to its Dublin-based finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to work closely with senior leadership, influence strategic decision-making and drive financial performance within a dynamic, international business.

The Role

Reporting into the wider finance function, you will play a key role in providing financial insight, supporting business strategy and ensuring strong financial performance across your portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading monthly forecasting, budgeting and financial planning activities.
• Analysing financial results, KPIs and business performance, delivering clear and insightful reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Partnering with operational leadership to develop annual budgets, monitor performance and achieve financial targets.
• Providing commercial insight and recommendations to improve profitability, cost efficiency and revenue performance.
• Preparing business cases and supporting capital expenditure and commercial pricing decisions.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting strategic projects across the business.
• Leading and developing a finance team, promoting accountability, collaboration and high performance.

About You

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA Ireland qualified.
• Proven people management experience, including managing a team of at least two.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Previous financial business partnering experience is advantageous, as is exposure to Hyperion.
