Job summary

A Dublin-based FMCG company is seeking a Finance Manager to take ownership of monthly management reporting, financial planning and business partnering across Operations and Procurement.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead budgeting, forecasting, working capital management and value creation initiatives while developing a small finance team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ relevant finance experience ideally with in a FMCG environment.
• Strong management accounting and/or FP&A background
• Strong commercial and analytical capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with an integrated ERP system
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong business partnering and influencing skills along with a growth/change mindset
• Past experience of process/ continuous improvement initiatives
• Previous experience managing or developing finance team members

Responsibilities

• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Net Debt and KPI reporting
• Deliver insightful variance analysis and financial commentary
• Business partner with Manufacturing Operations and Procurement
• Lead the annual budgeting and strategic planning process
• Support forecasting and ongoing performance management
• Monitor working capital, capex and value creation initiatives
• Support reporting to senior stakeholders, sponsors and lenders
• Oversee financial controls, reconciliations and standard costing
• Manage, coach and develop a small finance team

I’m delighted to partner with a well-established and growing FMCG business based in Dublin 12 to recruit a Finance Manager for their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded qualified accountant who enjoys working beyond the numbers and wants to play a key role in financial reporting, business partnering and driving business performance.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the monthly management reporting cycle while partnering closely with Manufacturing Operations and Procurement. You’ll also work with senior management across budgeting, forecasting, working capital and value creation initiatives.
