Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Ireland is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to provide financial leadership, partnering with senior management and driving performance across the business.

You will lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, and multi-year plans while building robust financial models and KPI frameworks to improve margins and profitability.

The role includes mentoring the finance team, delivering monthly/quarterly/annual reports, and advising executives on strategic financial decisions.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 7+ years in commercial finance and FP&A experience.
• Experience supporting operational leaders in a large MNC.
• Strong Excel modelling and BI/reporting tool experience.

Responsibilities

Exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager to join a large MNC in a leadership position.

As the successful candidate you will provide financial leadership and strategic business partnering across the business. In this role, you will lead the financial planning cycle, track operational performance, drive margin improvement initiatives, and serve as a key commercial advisor to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership, providing financial guidance and strategic insights to support decision-making.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial plans
• Develop KPIs, conduct variance and profitability analysis, and identify practical opportunities for cost savings and margin efficiency.

Requirements

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified accountant with 7+ years of progressive commercial finance and FP&A experience
• Track record of supporting operational leaders across a large MNC
• Advanced Excel modelling, strong financial analysis skills, and experience with FP&A and business intelligence reporting tools.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects, influence senior stakeholders, and develop junior team members.
• Exceptional ability to clearly present complex financial results and strategic recommendations to executive and operational audiences.
