Job summary

Leo Lynch in Waterford is seeking a motivated Commercial Finance Assistant to join our team. This role supports the Project Controls and Commercial Finance function, with responsibility for processing subcontractor costs, accounts administration, invoicing and expenses.

You will work closely with internal teams and external subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, while maintaining attention to detail and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Good numerical, organisational and administrative skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning financial/project systems.
• Comfortable working with invoices, reconciliations and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Review, record and process subcontractor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Set up and maintain subcontractor accounts and associated records.
• Assist with the preparation and processing of subcontractor payment runs.
• Perform subcontractor account reconciliations.
• Assist with customer invoicing and supporting project billing requirements.
• Review employee expense claims for accuracy, confirm appropriate supporting documentation and compliance with company policy.
• Provide additional administrative and finance support as required.
