Job summary

STRIVE Search is supporting a leading Dublin-based insurance brokerage to hire a Commercial Lines Account Executive. You will manage a book of personal lines clients, including home and motor, and provide clear advice to foster trust and renewals.

You will process new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments, negotiating with insurers for competitive terms, and identifying gaps for add-ons to strengthen client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance, ideally in an Account Executive or Account Handler role.
• Solid knowledge of home and motor insurance and the Irish personal lines market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal lines clients across home, motor and other household covers, acting as their main point of contact for renewals, queries and claims support.
• Process new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments accurately, and negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms for clients.
• Spot gaps in a client's existing cover and recommend suitable add-ons or policy changes, turning routine renewals into opportunities to grow the relationship.
• Maintain accurate client records, ensure compliance requirements are met and work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

Key Skills Required
