Match Recruitment is assisting a Drogheda-based insurance brokerage to hire a Commercial Account Executive. The role focuses on managing a commercial book, renewals, re-marketing accounts, and providing client-focused service.

The successful candidate will have CIP qualifications (or grandfathered) in Commercial General Insurance, 2-5 years in a similar role, and strong attention to detail to work independently across cases end-to-end.

• CIP qualification in Commercial General Insurance or grandfathered equivalent.
• 2-5 years' experience in a commercial lines role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage cases end-to-end.

Responsabilidades

• Manage existing and new commercial business and midterm adjustments.
• Review policy renewals, wording and endorsements with focus on service quality.
• Negotiate renewals, re-market accounts and finalise placements with coverage comparisons.
• Build and maintain relationships with key insurance providers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and probity requirements.

Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage based in Drogheda, is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong technical professional to hit the ground running within a busy, client-focused practice.

The Role:

• Manage existing business, new business, and midterm adjustments across a commercial book
• Review policy renewals, wording, and endorsements, ensuring excellent customer service throughout
• Negotiate renewals, re-market accounts, and finalise placements, providing coverage comparisons and recommendations to clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key insurance providers
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory and Fitness & Probity requirements

What You'll Need:

• CIP Qualified (or Grandfathered) in Commercial General Insurance
• Ideally 2-5 years' experience in a similar commercial lines role
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and manage cases end-to‑end
• Relay Software experience is a distinct advantage
