FRS Recruitment in Ireland is seeking a Commercial Insurance Client Executive to join its client-focused team in Cavan. You will manage and grow a portfolio, build client relationships and maximise retention.

The role requires 3-4+ years in commercial insurance, an existing book of business is a plus, and strong market knowledge to grow the portfolio and win new business while working within a close-knit team.

The Role

My client, a well-established commercial insurance broker based in Cavan, is looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Client Executive to join its close-knit, client-focused team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, growing an existing portfolio and winning new business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the commercial insurance market, a proactive approach to business development and, ideally, an existing book of commercial business and established industry connections that they can bring to the role.

You’ll take ownership of client relationships, maximise retention and identify opportunities to grow your portfolio, while playing an important part in the continued growth of the business.

Tasks & Duties

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

• 3 - 4+ years’ experience in commercial insurance, ideally within a brokerage.
• An existing commercial book of business is a significant advantage.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships, generate new business and grow a portfolio.
• Strong commercial market knowledge, with CIP/APA qualifications or Grandfathered status.
• Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team.
