Job summary

Camden Recruitment Partners in Dublin is seeking a Head of Compliance to own the Compliance function for a boutique, independent Dublin-based Management Company. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will serve as Designated Person for Regulatory Compliance, guiding the firm and its funds to meet Irish regulatory and governance requirements.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant compliance experience, strong knowledge of UCITS/AIFM regulations, and excellent stakeholder management to

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant Compliance experience in Irish funds/asset management or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of Irish financial services regulation, UCITS and AIFM requirements.
• Understanding of fund structures and regulatory oversight for Management Companies, Fund Administrators and Depositaries.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of advising senior management and regulators.
• Relevant third-level or professional qualification (e.g., LCOI) and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Irish Compliance function and maintain the company's regulatory framework, policies, and monitoring programme.
• Act as the Designated Person for Regulatory Compliance for the Management Company and its funds.
• Manage regulatory relationships, including the Central Bank of Ireland, and support inspections and filings.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement policy and control changes accordingly.
• Provide regulatory guidance to senior management, colleagues, and clients with practical, clear advice.
• Maintain a strong control environment including risk registers, monitoring, training, and oversight of outsourced providers.
