Job summary

The Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone is seeking a Breakfast Supervisor to join our Food and Beverage team. You will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering high-quality breakfast service and guest satisfaction, while leading a team of staff in a fast-paced 4* hotel environment.

We emphasise exceptional customer service, teamwork and attention to detail, with opportunities for career development and staff perks. A positive, energetic approach is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years experience in a 4* Hotel as Team Leader or F&B Supervisor.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership, motivation and team supervision abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager to effectively manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service.
• Carry out supervisory duties as per the agreed standards.
• Take control of the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• Assist with training as required.
• Address day-to-day queries, complaints and issues in the restaurant.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Breakfast Supervisor to join our great Food and Beverage team here at Hodson Bay Hotel.

The ideal candidate should be energetic, customer focused and should possess excellent communication skills. They should have the ability to work well under pressure.

As part of the Restaurant team you will be responsible for assisting the Manager to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of Restaurant Service whilst ensuring our guests have a positive experience. We work together as a team to ensure that we exceed guest expectations every time. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager to effectively manager the day to day operations, to ensure the smooth running of service, and our guests have a positive experience.
• To carry out all supervisory duties as per the agreed standards.
• To take control and responsibility for the hotel's restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
• To assist and carry out training as required.
• To be responsible for the day to day queries, complaints and issues that arise in the restaurant.

The ideal candidate will possess the following

• At least 1/2 years experience in a 4* Hotel working as a Team Leader/Food and Beverage Supervisor
• Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills
• Be an excellent Team Leader & motivate the team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to work
