Job summary

Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone, part of the Hodson Bay Group, is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to support daily service operations and ensure guest satisfaction. You will lead a team, maintain high standards of service, and manage the restaurant in the manager's absence, while contributing to a positive guest experience.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and a proactive approach to training and guest queries within a 4* hotel environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a 4* hotel as a Team Leader/Food & Beverage Supervisor.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager to effectively manage day-to-day service operations.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding levels of service.
• Take control of the hotel’s restaurant in the Manager's absence.
• Assist with training as required.
• Handle day-to-day queries and complaints in the Bar & Brasserie/Restaurant.
• Carry out supervisory duties as per standards.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitiousFood and Beverage Supervisorto join our great team here at Hodson Bay Hotel. The ideal candidate should be energetic, customer focused and should possess excellent communication skills. They should have the ability to work well under pressure.

As part of the Food & Beverage team you will be responsible for assisting the Manager to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of service whilst ensuring our guests have a positive experience. We work together as a team to ensure that we exceed guest expectations every time. We do this by ensuring the highest standards of products are on offer and by achieving excellent service standards at all times. Exceeding guest expectations is part of our service culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager to effectively manager the day to day operations, to ensure the smooth running of service, and our guests have a positive experience.


• Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding levels of service at all times.


• To take control and responsibility for the hotel’s restaurant in the absence of your Manager.


• To assist and carry out training as required.


• To be responsible for the day to day queries, complaints and issues that arise in the Bar & Brasserie/Restaurant.


• To carry out all supervisory duties as per the agreed standards.

A little bit about you:
