Job summary

Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland, is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our on-site team. You will support the Manager to run day-to-day service and ensure guests have a positive experience.

The ideal candidate will be energetic, customer focused and possess strong communication skills, with at least one year of experience in a 4-star hotel as a Team Leader or F&B Supervisor. We offer meals on duty, free parking, hotel discounts, gym and pool access, staff taxi

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a 4* hotel as Team Leader or F&B Supervisor.
• Energetic, customer focused with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager to manage day-to-day service operations and guest experience.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding service at all times.
• Take control of the hotel's restaurant in the absence of the Manager.
• Assist with training as required.
• Handle day-to-day queries, complaints, and issues in Bar & Brasserie/Restaurant.
• Carry out supervisory duties per the agreed standards.

As part of the Food & Beverage team you will be responsible for assisting the Manager to effectively manage the day-to-day operations of service whilst ensuring our guests have a positive experience. We work together as a team to ensure that we exceed guest expectations every time. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Manager to effectively manager the day to day operations, to ensure the smooth running of service, and our guests have a positive experience.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding levels of service at all times.
• To take control and responsibility for the hotel's restaurant in the absence of your Manager.
• To assist and carry out training as required.
• To be responsible for the day to day queries, complaints and issues that arise in the Bar & Brasserie/Restaurant.
• To carry out all supervisory duties as per the agreed standards.

A little bit about you:

• At least 1 year experience in a 4* Hotel working as a Team Leader/Food and Beverage Supervisor
• Be an excellent Team Leader & motivate the team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to work
