Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience, including room assignments and requests.
• Manage check-out procedures, settle guest accounts, process payments, and ensure a smooth departure experience.
• Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries, transferring calls, and taking messages as needed.
• Assist guests with reservations, special requests, and inquiries about services and local attractions with accurate information.
• Maintain an organized, clean front desk reflecting the hotel's high standards of presentation.
• Handle cash, card payments securely following cash-handling policies.
• Liaise with Housekeeping and Maintenance to fulfil guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Record guest preferences and notes to personalise future stays and enhance satisfaction.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and escalate concerns to management when needed.
• Stay updated on promotions, room availability, rates, and events to assist guests effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of stays and ensure information is documented in the reservation system.
