Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a driven Director/Sr Director, Business Development to expand our biotech client base across Europe. The role focuses on enterprise sales of Phase I–IV global services and requires building trusted relationships at C-suite and senior levels.

The ideal candidate has a long track record in CRO/pharma/biotech sales, deep knowledge of the European biotech market, and a demonstrated ability to strategize and close high-value deals with senior executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in CRO/pharma/biotech.
• At least 8 years in BD Associate/Director roles in a CRO environment.
• Understanding of clinical processes (PH I - IV).
• Solid understanding of the biotech segment, including commercialization and development.
• Detailed understanding of the biotech market in Europe.
• The candidate can be based anywhere in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and account management activities within European biotech.
• Manage relationships at all levels, including C-suite and senior executives.
• Develop robust account strategy and drive execution across the IQVIA portfolio.
• Sell across the enterprise, including Phase I through IV global services.
