Job summary

Fivetran, Dublin, is seeking an Account Executive to manage a commercial customer base and drive dbt Cloud adoption. You will identify new business opportunities, close deals, and deepen existing relationships across analytics tech stacks.

You will engage with stakeholders from developers to CTOs, navigate long sales cycles, and collaborate with product to shape the enterprise roadmap. A proactive, inclusive teammate with SQL knowledge is ideal.

Qualifications

• 2+ years closing experience in technology sales with targets met.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into a consultative sale.
• Excellent written, verbal, and in-person communication across stakeholders.
• Resilience to long, intricate sales cycles and multi-team execution.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and inclusive teamwork.
• Familiarity with dbt or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage and close your own pipeline of customers for dbt Cloud.
• Expand dbt Cloud footprint in existing accounts to maximize impact.
• Engage with technology partners to extend reach in the region.
• Contribute to sales process improvements and work with product on roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and management throughout deals.
