Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our Commercial sales team in Dublin. You will work closely with sales to understand complex customer needs and demonstrate how Fivetran’s data replication solutions can help them achieve their desired outcomes.

This full-time role is based in our Dublin office with a hybrid work model, including two days in the office each week for collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business needs and data replication requirements for Commercial customers
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to Commercial audiences
• Lead and organize proof-of-value processes to secure technical win
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements across the company
• Maintain customer focus and technical excellence in engagements
• Stay current on data replication technologies, cloud data warehouses, and BI tools
• Assist team members with advanced technical or business roadblocks
• 4+ years in data replication, sales engineering, or related field
• Hands-on experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, NoSQL) and cloud infrastructure
• Experience with self-hosted software applications and networking in cloud/on-prem environments
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
