Steering Point is seeking an Associate Director for its Corporate Finance team to lead day-to-day M&A transactions from initial meetings to closing, oversee complex modelling and due diligence, and prepare essential documents such as pitch books and valuation reports.

You will tailor client requirements, work with colleagues to ensure flawless execution, and help identify risks and opportunities while actively strengthening relationships to support origination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in M&A in Ireland and/or London.
• Strong communication with key stakeholders.
• High level of commercial acumen and financial modelling ability.
• Experience presenting findings in client deliverables.
• Ability to identify issues and propose workable solutions.

Responsabilités

• Take ownership of day-to-day transaction management of M&A mandates from initial meetings to closing.
• Oversee complex financial modelling, valuations and due diligence findings.
• Direct the preparation and review of key documentation (pitch books, teasers, management presentations and valuation reports).
• Develop a thorough understanding of client requirements and work with them to develop the best approach.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure work is executed properly at all times.
• Identify and escalate risks as needed.
• Play a key role in origination by analyzing business development opportunities.
• Communicate progress and risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Strengthen external relationships to broaden network and contribute to origination efforts.
• Mentor and develop more junior team members.
