Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Dublin seeks an Area Director of Sales to lead four properties: Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge, Clayton Hotel Charlemont, Maldron Hotel Merrion Road and Maldron Hotel Kevin Street. You will build a high-performing sales team and drive revenue across owned segments.

You will partner with General Managers and Revenue to shape rate strategy, forecast demand, and nurture key national/international accounts. Strong leadership and Dublin-market knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Director of Sales.
• Multi-site experience is a distinct advantage.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with ability to analyse market trends.

Responsibilities

• Build and inspire a dynamic sales team to achieve/exceed targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure loyalty.
• Lead hotels' strategy in planning and forecasting owned business segments.
• Support lead generation and participate in sales activities and events.
• Collaborate with Account Management to nurture existing and win new opportunities.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Revenue Manager on rate strategy and budget planning.
