Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is seeking experienced Social Care Assistants to join our flexible agency teams across Wicklow. You will work on relief, short-term and ongoing assignments in residential, respite, day and community-based services.

Applicants must have QQI Level 5 and be eligible to work in Ireland. This role offers flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends and public holidays; driving licence and transport are a plus for rural locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support in line with care plans.
• Assist service users with personal care and daily living activities.

• Complete care records and required documentation accurately.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams including social care and nursing.
• Follow HSE policies, HIQA standards and infection-control requirements.

We have a range of relief, short-term and ongoing assignments available within residential, respite, day and community-based services. • Follow HSE policies, HIQA standards, safeguarding procedures and infection-control requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Full QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Applied Social Care Studies, Nursing Studies, Health Service Skills or Community Health Services.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
• 3 x satisfactory references.
• Current Manual Handling and CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, reliable and person-centred approach.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• A full driving licence and access to your own transport are highly desirable, as shifts may be located in rural areas with limited public transport.
